Weddings Rooted in Presence

We approach weddings as gatherings shaped through presence. Where atmosphere, pacing, and care matter more than performance.

Our role is not to follow a template, but to thoughtfully shape the environment so the day feels grounded, cohesive, and deeply personal. Every decision is guided by how the space supports connection, between partners, guests, and the moment itself.

We work best with couples who value meaning, intention, and a sense of ease over spectacle.

Often for couples seeking something a little less traditional, and a little more their own.

Our Approach

We design weddings with the same care we bring to all of our work:

By listening first.

Rather than starting with trends or expectations, we begin by understanding the people at the center of the gathering, the energy they want to cultivate, and the way they want the day to feel. From there, we shape the environment through thoughtful layout, layered textures, light, and intentional visual moments.

Our work is collaborative, grounded, and responsive — allowing the space to unfold naturally while holding the details with care.

Wedding Design & Styling

We provide wedding design and styling support for couples seeking a cohesive, intentional environment. Whether the setting is a private venue, outdoor space, or something shaped more by the land itself.

This may include:

  • Overall visual direction and aesthetic development

  • Ceremony and reception layout guidance

  • Tablescape and detail styling

  • Custom built architectural elements and focal structures

  • Decorative rentals, curated elements, and immersive environments for couples drawn to atmospheric, dark and romantic, or ritual-inspired aesthetics

  • On-site styling and execution

Our focus is on creating a space that feels considered and supportive — not overdesigned.

On-Site Execution & Holding the Space

On the day of the wedding, our role is to manage the details so you don’t have to.

We oversee setup, styling, and flow to ensure the environment feels intentional from beginning to end. Our presence is steady and unobtrusive, allowing couples and guests to remain present while the gathering unfolds.

This support is especially valuable for couples who want to stay grounded in the experience of the day, rather than managing logistics.

A Thoughtful Beginning

While Under the Rune is a newer name in the wedding space, our approach is rooted in years of experience designing environments for gatherings, celebrations, and creative events.

We are intentionally growing our wedding work — choosing to take on a limited number of couples whose values align with our philosophy and process.

If you’re drawn to a slower, more intentional approach to your wedding, we’d love to explore whether we’re the right fit.

Who We’re Best Suited For

Our wedding work is best suited for couples who:

  • Value presence over performance

  • Want their wedding to feel grounded and personal

  • Are open to a collaborative design process

  • Care deeply about atmosphere, pacing, and meaning

If you’re seeking something thoughtful, expressive, and quietly intentional, you’re in the right place.

Some are drawn to something quiet and grounded. Others to something more expressive or unconventional.

Different Directions, Same Foundation

Some weddings lean toward ritual and symbolism.
Some toward a darker, more atmospheric tone.
Others are shaped by the landscape itself.

What they share is the same foundation.
Presence. Intention. Care.
